FAQ

Ear picks have been used in Asia for thousands of years. Asians tend to develop dry ear wax which can stick to the ear canals. Ear picks are used to scrape the ear wax out of the ears. Usually, ear cleaning is done on someone else such as children. Using the scoop end of the ear pick, gently insert it into the ear canal and scrape the sides with wax build-up. It's important to not stick the pick in the canal too deeply as this can damage the ear drum.

In Asian cultures, ear picking is done for both relaxation and to maintain hygiene. It's a common practice that many find relaxing. It's not a medical need, but rather based on personal preference.

It is not recommended to use ear picks for wet ear wax. There are other, better methods for cleaning out wet ear wax.
