It's always fun mixing a razor haircut with color. Watch this haircut with razor finesse come to life with some common razor cutting techniques. In this video taken from the internet, Sergey Zaroslav, uses a Feather Styling Razor which is a straight edge haircutting razor that holds a guarded razor blade.

He cuts a beautiful haircut on straight hair in the salon using both razors and shears before moving onto the color portion. Sergey starts with the bangs using a Feather Styling Razor and contours around the face. He moves to the back to cut the ends for the desired length. Then, he addresses the top of the hair, holding the sections up and channel cutting for some texture and movement.

Finally, he blow drys the hair and does some detailing with scissors and face framing. After a complete blow dry, he gives the client a pop of bright pink color around the bangs and the length of the hair. Since the color is underneath her natural hair color, you can view it with a little swipe of the hair. Cute!

Straight razor haircuts have a more lived-in look. Take care when cutting hair with a razor and always make sure you have a sharp blade to prevent snagging, drag or frizzy hair. Razor hair cutting can be done on curly hair as well.
