This shaggy mullet was created entirely with the Feather Styling Razor, focusing on a strong fringe, airy volume through the top, and preserved length in the back.

I started with a mohawk/horseshoe section to create separation and support the mullet shape. Beginning in the fringe, I established a heavy, textured bang with a center guide, then over-directed the sides inward to maintain length at the edges while removing weight. I used the flat edge of the razor to take off length and create soft face-framing petals.

Using the fringe as my guide, I layered through the top and crown with longer razor strokes to build volume and movement without collapsing the shape. Through the sides - especially above the ear - I removed more weight and length to define the mullet silhouette, incorporating channeling below the crown for added texture. I kept the back longer and fuller to maintain balance.

To finish, I diffused with root spray, volumizing foam, and texture paste for lived-in volume and separation.
