This long layered cut was designed to enhance natural movement and frame the face with softness and flow. I used my Feather Styling Razor throughout the entire cut to achieve seamless, cascading layers and a fluid, blended finish. Razor cutting is my preferred technique for long layers like this because it removes bulk while creating movement, without harsh lines or excessive weight. I began by establishing my face-framing guide at the cheekbones—this point works beautifully to open up the face without losing length. To maintain softness, I elevated each section forward and used the razor to carve into the hair with light pressure, allowing the face-framing to melt into the front lengths effortlessly. This technique ensures the shortest layers taper gently into the perimeter without a shelf or disconnect. To finish I used a lightweight blow dry cream and dried with a round brush.
