Bowl Shaped Mullet

The haircut is inspired by David Bowie. We wanted to incorporate a bowl shape element to the mullet as well. I used my Feather Styling Razor from the crown of the head sectioning vertically focusing on adding airy textures and removing weight. Throughout the parietal ridge I created movement in vertical sections and made little wisps. Around the mastoid process area I combed the hair towards the ear feathering a short to long shape. Once I was happy with the shape I decided to sharpen the temple to exaggerate the bowl shape even more. I kept a round shape on her forehead to keep it soft for everyday. Once I added the extensions, I elevated the hair to 90 degrees to create little petals of softness for layering then cut the length with zero elevation. I styled this look by hand styling and diffusing the front, and finished with sea salt spray and pomade. I curled the extensions and added some sea salt spray for texture.
