Mod Layered Transition Cut

My client came in looking for a fresh take on a mod-inspired cut with a grow-out that would evolve into a soft mullet. With his thick, coarse texture in mind, I approached the shape switching between the Feather Styling Razor and Feather Texturizing Styling Razor with Feather Styling Razor Standard Blades or Feather Styling Razor Texturizing Blades, respectively—sculpting sharp, toothy edges and carving in movement where it counted.

The goal was to work with his natural texture, not against it. By strategically removing bulk and building contrast between weight and airiness, I created a cut that feels intentional and dimensional. Texture powder and wax were key to finishing the look—adding lift and separation in all the right places.
