This look is my shag/butterfly hybrid cut which is the perfect blend of a 70s styled shag bang and 90s feathered layers for a versatile cut. This cut is MADE for the color to shine. Creating these 90 degree angled layers all over the head with my Feather Styling Razor and Feather Styling Razor Standard Blade leaves openings for the pastel prism to peek through while still having the high contrast of the chocolate brown overtop.

I over direct all the face framing layers forward (any hair in front of the ear) and start cutting from the bottom of my face framing up with a moving guide towards the end of the bangs to get the most texture and volume, so the color doesn't become hidden underneath the layers. You can punk it up with a texture paste or have a soft feathered blowout for an effortless style.
