Using my Feather Detail Styling Razor and Standard Blades, I created this modern-day mullet with a slightly longer, eye-level fringe that allows for multiple ways to style it. Overall, I wanted to remove weight and create a wispy effect throughout the hair. This cut took multiple Feather Styling Razor Standard Blades. As I cut, if I felt any resistance, I switched out to a fresh blade. To establish my foundation, I started at the front sides, cutting length around the perimeter and giving shape. Using the center of the blade and holding the hair taut, I over directed back and forth to create texture all around the head. Along the back of the head, I created roundness by holding the razor like a pencil and carving out weight where needed being careful not to cut the crown section too short to avoid creating a 'bed head' look. The finished cut was dried first with a diffuser to give volume at the crown, then smoothed with a nozzle and styled with texturizing spray.
