It's sharp stainless steel 1/4 jaw cutting edge cuts with great accuracy. The handles are designed to fit comfortably in your hand. The flat slant tips of the cuticle nipper prevent you from poking your skin while cutting. If you require extra safety while cutting, this cuticle nipper is for you. Just because the tips are flat does not mean the cutting edges are not sharp. The edge is still very sharp and can cut overgrown cuticles effectively. "Compact, but hard to use"

"Nicely made, but I found it challenging to use, it’s a little too small for my hands. The cutting blade is smaller than a regular sized cuticle cutter so it also takes longer / more cutting."

"Very disappointed"

"Unlike the other Seki Edge products that i have this nipper is very disappointing because it's not very sharp and awkward to use."

Sorry to hear this. If you are unhappy with this product you can return it within 30 days of purchase. This nipper is meant to address safety so the handling may be a bit different than what you're used to but the edges should still be sharp. We've always found the blades to be sharp.

"Easy to use and great results"

"I am a big fan of the Seki nail care products. I just bought a set for my wife for Valentine's Day. Not a typical V-Day purchase, but I know she'll love it.

Just bought the nipper and am very happy with it so far. I've been trimming with an Xacto knife and this is a huge upgrade! Easy to control, very precise. And I know it will last for years!"
