The SS-301 has some added safety features that the SS-306 does not have. The tips are flat and not sharply pointed so they won't poke you. It has an elastomer handle for added comfort.

Cuticle nippers help keep nail beds stay clean and groomed. Our cuticles grow out naturally. If not maintained, they can cause hangnails which can lead to bleeding and pain. Unkept cuticles can also make nails look unsightly.

Soak nails in warm water for several minutes or use a cuticle softener. When cuticles are soft, use a cuticle pusher to push down the excess growth from the cuticles. Then carefully use the nipper to cut off the growth from one side of the nail to the other. Be sure to use cuticle oil afterwards to seal back in any lost moisture.
