MAKING AN IMPORTANT POINT. Sometimes you need a slanted tip, sometimes a rounded tip and sometimes a pointed tip. A point tip tweezer gives you the most precise and accurate tweezing. Made of Japanese stainless steel, you can tweeze the tiniest of hairs or the smallest stubborn splinter. The tips are sharp and need to be handled with care to prevent injury, but its specialized use can make all the difference. With a sleek black matte finish, this tweezer is a classic style that never goes out of style. Made in Japan.

FAQ

Point tip tweezers are best used for precise tweezing, removing splinters or in-grown hairs. When you need accuracy and precision, pointed tips are the best choice.

There is good reason to be concerned about the pointed tips, but like any sharp tool, maintaining safety is always a concern. Taking precautions can prevent future injury. Some ways to use them safely are to use them in a well-lit area, use a magnifying glass to see up close, keep the tweezers away from sensitive areas and use steady hands. And if you are diabetic, it's better to use the Round Tip Tweezers (SS-516) instead to avoid any poking.

The best way to remove individual hairs is to grab the hair at the base of the hair. This means grabbing the hair as close to the skin as possible. The further away from the skin the hair is grabbed, the more likely the hair will break and there will not be enough force to pull the hair out. Do not put excessive force on the tweezers as over time this will cause the tips to bow out.
