The tension stopper has two purposes. First it helps to keep the tips closer together, reducing your tweezing effort. The second purpose is to prevent the tips from wiggling.

The Amazing Tweezer is unique. It has several features that are not found in other tweezers. These features help the tweezer last longer and function better. Other tweezers eventually get to a point where they don't tweeze anymore. This is because the metal parts are usually thin. Over time constant pressure is applied to the metal parts, this makes them bend and the tips bow out. This results in tips that do not come together flat. With the Amazing Tweezer, the metal parts are thicker and will not bend to pressure. This allows the tips to always come together flat. The tension stopper is also a unique feature of the Amazing Tweezer which was placed to fix issues that occurred as a result of the thicker metal pieces. It also has a patented spring technology.

In order for the thicker metal pieces to come together, the tweezer uses thinner pieces of metal to hold them together. This allows for a �springiness' in the tweezers.
