While most Seki Edge items are made in Japan, some items are made in China due to pricing. If it was fully made in Japan it would be much more expensive. Please be comforted that wouldn't sell it if we didn't think it was up to Japanese standards. We do have a 30 day return policy if you are still unsatisfied.

FAQ

The SS-306 has a traditional look and feel for a cuticle nipper. The blades are thinner which can be preferrable over the thicker blades of the SS-301. While the potential to poke yourself is greater, the trade-off is more control and the ability to get into the tight corners of the nail with the pointed tips.

Cuticle nippers help keep nail beds stay clean and groomed. Our cuticles grow out naturally. If not maintained, they can cause hangnails which can lead to bleeding and pain. Unkept cuticles can also make nails look unsightly.

Soak nails in warm water for several minutes or use a cuticle softener. When cuticles are soft, use a cuticle pusher to push down the excess growth from the cuticles. Then carefully use the nipper to cut off the growth from one side of the nail to the other. Be sure to use cuticle oil afterwards to seal back in any lost moisture.
