Shaping a Beard From the Profile View

Beard shaping can be a little tricky if you don’t understand face shapes or the lines of the face.You can do a great job of shaping the beard from the front, but the profile view may tell a different story. It’s important that a beard looks good from both angles. So how do you get a great profile shape?

You need to evaluate your client’s face shape and facial features from the profile and determine what needs to be de-emphasized and what should be accentuated. You also need to evaluate what the client wants to get done and how that will fold into the mix. Then to tame hairs, you can use shears and beard and moustache softener.
