Feather Razors are my go to tool for all my custom curly cuts. Cutting with a razor lets the hair form a curl with a soft blended end shape rather than a blunt edge, giving the curl pattern more freedom to form. For this curly bang I used no tension as I shaped the hair to the desired length and carved each curl with a Feather Styling Razor to define the coils and remove unwanted bulk. Using Feather Styling Razor Texturizing Blades, I move the razor in a downward direction when cutting into the length. For removing bulk I use an upward motion in the top section of the hair and interior of the sides. This allows a soft blended finish with no shelving of the layers. To finish the style I used an intensive curl cream and oil while the hair was wet and coiled the curls to diffuse. I added more oil on the ends and pulled them apart to accentuate her perfect curly fringed style. Razor cuts and curl are a must do!
